Evangeline Trilogy
“Near,” “The Soil and the Climate,” and “Move Away From the Towers”
Based on the epic Longfellow poem “Evangeline” and the films “Easy Rider“ and “Woodstock,” the 36-Hour Evangeline Trilogy was a trio of 12-hour durational events. The three pieces were created by over 150 guest performers and collaborators - and were performed in front of a 30 foot floor to ceiling blackboard.
